2008 Paisley Beer Festival
The ScotlUG trip to the Paisley Beer Festival is Friday, May 2nd - T-Shirts are being planned.
ScotLUG on tour
Somebody said we should get out more.... AberTay LUG appear to have a vigorous programme of speakers, perhaps we should try to get a team together to go up and support them, say hello and show face. Its also within travelling distance for some of our NE members who we don't see in person as often as we'd like to.
I'm thinking maybe for their January or February meeting.
I'd take another 4 in the car , or if we get enough folk , maybe we could get a group discount on BR for a small trainload. I think we need 12 or more to get a group reduction. Train details to follow.
In any case, the idea is hereby floated, comments in support or agin are equally welcome. Lets hear from you....

It would be nice to meet some of you guys and see if we can get some interplay between are Linux groups (Sorry for the Mark Shuttleworth like comment).
I'd hope to see if we can get some of our guys to come over and see you lot. Our groups getting pretty active now days, and we're getting 20-30 members turning up each fortnight, so there's always a good gossip in the bar afterwards.
